Ontario Pathways

While the entire Pathway is open in the winter for snowshoeing, snow hiking, or just plain hiking, there are several sections which we endeavor to keep groomed for cross country skiing. For 7.5 miles from the Ontario street trailhead in Canandaigua to the Depot road parking area in Hopewell, if we have enough snow, we will groom this length for skiing. We try to set one side of the trail for skiing, and the other side of the trail for snowshoeing and hiking, so please be respectful of the ski tracks. If you like to ride a snowmobile, we are very much in need of people to help keep the trail groomed!
